We're pleased to announce that we've added a carbon emissions calculator to our website.

So now, whenever you book a trip, you'll also be able to check the carbon emissions for the journey you're planning, compare them against the same journey taken by car or by plane, and see how much you've saved.

The calculator is quick and easy to use. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you'll be able to not only see the environmental benefits of choosing to travel by rail, but also what those savings in energy equate to, for example, in hours of TV-time.
