Introduce more services

  • A new train service (direct service from Lincoln to London from 2009) and more trains to current destinations.

Make improvements to the trains

  • Investment in rolling stock to make them more attractive and more reliable.

Station enhancements and security

  • Investment in stations, in CCTV and station ticket gating.

Improve car parking

  • New technology to make payments easier and provide many more spaces.

Improving information at stations

  • Real time information through new technology.

Introduce new fares and ticketing opportunities

A responsible approach to the environment

All these changes will not be seen immediately but we are confident as we go into 2008 customers will begin to notice a positive change reflecting our commitment to further improving the quality of travel on the East Coast.
