Travel to the heart of London

National Express East Coast services take you to the heart of London. King's Cross station, our London terminal, is in Zone 1 and sits on the Northern, Victoria, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan tube lines, so you can then travel easily to other parts of the capital.

Fewer Delays

National Express East Coast is aiming to improve the already excellent punctuality times of East Coast further and working with Network Rail and the Office of Rail Regulation aims to achieve a step change in performance improvement, the benefits of which will start to be seen quickly and with the aim of increasing to more than 9 out of 10 trains on time.

From December 2010 faster journey times are planned. With London to Leeds in 2 hours and London to York in 1 hour 45 minutes. National Express East Coast are also planning to reduce average journey times between London and Edinburgh with several trains in each direction taking less than 4 hours 20 minutes.
