At National Express East Coast we are here to make sure your journey is a pleasant one. In the next year National Express are planning to make a £24 million investment in rolling stock, including a refurbished fleet of extra trains in operation from December 2010. From December 2010 there will also be a provision for up to 25 extra services which will deliver over 14,000 extra seats each day and increase the number of weekday trains from 136 to 161.

Clean, stylish, comfortable and spacious, our trains not only look good, they feel good too. Ergonomically designed seats with ample legroom offer optimum comfort, while improved engineering means a smoother, quieter ride.
Eat, drink and be merry
In First Class our on-board team will bring complimentary refreshments and newspapers to your seat and on some routes customers can choose to dine in the restaurant.
However, if you prefer to stay in your seat, an updated catering offer combining the best of the traditional and with contemporary foods will be available to First Class and to Standard Class passengers.
